in Ocean City. Check into your hotel and enjoy a warm welcome
reception.
Excitement
and history come alive in charming Snow Hill, Maryland. Participate
in an old- fashioned school lesson at the Mount Zion One-
Room School House. Then experience the local lore and lifestyles
at the Julia A. Purnell Museum. Enjoy lunch at the historic
Snow Hill Inn or a restaurant that was once a courthouse.
Step further back in time to Furnace Town, a 19th-century
village that surrounds the original structure of a bog iron
furnace. Upon return, cap the day with an entertaining dinner
show at the Grand Dinner Theatre.
After
breakfast is a visit to Salisbury. First, stop to see the
wood carvings brought to life at the prestigious Ward Museum
of Wildfowl Art, complete with a catered lunch, Next, tour
the Salisbury Pewter Factory and view artisans making handcrafted
pewter ware, plus a factory outlet store. And if that's not
enough, a visit to the Country House, the largest country
store in the East, will surely be a delight for all. After
the tour, it's time to roll up your sleeves and dig in to
the Red Roost's famous Eastern Shore meal- family style including
fun entertainment for everyone!
Today's
tour begins at the Ocean City Life Saving Station Museum with
deep sea treasures and shipwreck artifacts. Then, its all
aboard for a guided cruise through the beautiful scenery and
marine wildlife or the Sinepuxent Bay. Search for wild ponies,
dredge for clams, or just enjoy the view. This voyage is fun
for all ages! The afternoon is yours to relax, enjoy the beach
and stroll the Boardwalk.
Experience
the Victorian charm of Berlin, offering antiques and unique
gift shops, before departing for home.
