Driving Directions

For those who drive themselves, the following are some brief highway directions from several areas within easy driving distance.

From Baltimore
Take I-695 East, the Baltimore Beltway, to I-97 South, Exit #4, on the left to Annapolis/Bay Bridge.
Take I-97 South to U.S. Route50 East. Cross the Bay Bridge and follow U.S. Route 50 East all the way to Ocean City.
*Baltimore: 150 miles, approximately 3 hours

From Washington, D.C. and West
Take I-495, the Washington Beltway, to U.S. Route 50 East to Annapolis, Cross the Bay Bridge and follow U.S. Route 50 East all the way to Ocean City.

From Allentown and Greater Philadelphia
Take I-95 South to Christiana Mall Exit #4B in Northern Delaware. Take Delaware Route 1 South to Dover, DE. Merge onto U.S. Route 113 South. Take U.S. Route 50 East to Ocean City. *Allentown: 200 miles, approximately 4 hours.
*Philadelphia: 150 miles, approximately 3 hours

From Central Pennsylvania
Take I-83 South to I-695 East. Take I-695 East to I-97 South, Exit, exit #4, on left to Annapolis/Bay Bridge. Take I-97 South to U.S. Route 50 East. Cross the Bay Bridge and follow U.S. Route 50 East all the way to Ocean City.
*York: 185 miles, approximately 4 hours
* Harrisburg: 210 miles, approximately 4.5 hours

From Pittsburgh
Take I-76, the Pennsylvania Turnpike, east to Breezewood, PA. Take I-70 East toward Baltimore. Take I-70 East to I-695 East, the Baltimore Beltway. Take I-695 East, to I-97 South, Exit #4, on the left to Annapolis/Bay Bridge. Take I-97 South to U.S. Route50 East. Cross the Bay Bridge and follow U.S. Route 50 East all the way to Ocean City.
*Pittsburgh: 385 miles, approximately 7 hours

From New York, New England Area and North
Take I-95 South to the New Jersey Turnpike and the Delaware Memorial Bridge. Shortly after toll for bridge, take U.S. Route 13 South to Delaware Route 1. Take Delaware Route 1 South to Dover, DE. Merge onto U.S. Route 113 South. Take U.S. Route 113 South to Maryland Route 90East or U.S. Route 50 East to Ocean City.
*New York City: 250 miles, approximately 5 hours.

From the South
Take I-95 North to U.S. Route 58 East follow signs for the Chesapeake Bay Bridge- Tunnel and I-64 East. Take I-64 East to U.S. Route 13 North and Bay Bridge-Tunnel (toll). Cross Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel and follow U.S. Route 13 North to Pocomoke City, MD and U.S. Route 113 North. Take U.S. 113 North to U.S. Route 50 East all the way to Ocean City.
