A Shore Adventure

Arrive in Ocean City and check into your room. Tantalize your senses with a venture down Ocean City's famous three mile Boardwalk full of specialty shops, delicious foods and amusements. Dining can be exciting at any of the variety of restaurants here.

Wake up to a soft ocean breeze and a hearty breakfast. Then it's off to Crisfield for a unique island excursion with an early stop to shop the famous Carvel Hill Factory Store. Embark on a facinating boat ride to Smith or Tangier Island where you'll discover a way of life that has changed little over the years. An Eastern Shore family-style feast awaits, followed by a guided tour of the island featuring historic sites and souvenir shops! Upon returnm catch a sunset while dining at one of Ocean City's fine bayfront restaurants.

For the early riser, a refreshing bike ride along the Boardwalk may be in order, or take in a glorious sunrise as you walk the beach. Then, the adventure continues as you take an escorted tour of Assateague Island, home of the wild ponies. Nature trails provide scenic views of the wildlife and watershed. Arrange to have a picnic lunch, comb the beach or paddle a canoe.. the choice is up to you. This evening, unwind on a sunset cruise.

Today's excursion to neighboring Delaware begins at the Discoveries by the Sea Musum. Then, explore Lewes, Delaware, the first town of the First State. Visit Cape Henelopen State Park and other historic sites. Enjoy lunch along the waterfront. This afternoon, sample wine at Nassau Vineyard and learn how it is made. This evening, visit Dover and its many attractions.

On your way home, travel to nearby St. Michael's , Maryland. Known as the town that fooled the British, St. Michael's hosts an antique shopping and beautiful scenery. Try a scenic luncheon cruise.
