Things You Should Know
To Apply for a Marriage License in Worcester County:

Hours for Applying are 8:30-4:00, Monday through Friday.Room 104, Snow Hill Court House, 1 West Market Street, Snow Hill, Maryland, 410-632-5500Only one person needs to apply.The fee for a marriage license is $35.00. Cash only, checks will not be accepted.You will need a driver’s license or birth certificate for the bride and groom. No blood test is required. You will need to show your social security number.You must be married in Worcester County.License is valid for six months from the date of issue.You must wait until 6:00 am on the second calendar day after you apply for the license before you can be married.If either party is divorced, you must have proper documentation that is signed by a judge .If either party has a deceased spouse, you will need the death certificate.If either party is under 18 years of age, please call for further information.
